Four ladies came to us 12 years ago, with a goal of forming a small group practice.  Horizon Therapy Group is now the premier behavioral health center in Council Bluffs, IA, with 15 providers.  We work closely with Nancy, their Office Manager, to keep collections at the highest possible level.  Some of their special needs was in developing a system for billing the county on an Excel spreadsheet, instead of the traditional healthcare claim.

Therapy Resource Associates, an established behavioral health group of 13 providers, had been struggling with a popular billing system, when they came to us in 2002.  While the billing system was slick and full-featured, it did not work well for a large group practice.  Mistakes were easy to make and hard to correct.  It was hard to manage, so collections suffered...and staff hours excessive.  Calculating payouts to therapists was tedious and error-prone.  We worked with them in transitioning easily to our more powerful billing platform.

Behavioral Health Solutions has been with us since 2008, but Shelly took ownership just a few years ago.  Shelly is a psychologist with little business management experience.  We are currently consulting with Shelly on how to build a more lucrative group practice...one that can meet the needs of the rural areas of southeastern Nebraska.

Jolene Beck joined us in 2011.   She was  just starting her solo-practice, so we provided extensive guidance on all aspects of building a successful private practice.  Today, Jolene enjoys her headache-free and lucrative private practice.

Karen came to us in 2010, after struggling with another billing system.  After getting the billing smoothed out, Karen asked us if we could add clinical notes features to the system...to keep her notes better organized, and to save tedious hand-writing time.  While this is not a true EHR system, it does meet her exact needs, and integrates tightly with the billing system. 

In 2005, one of our group practice customers hired Sherri as Office Manager.  Although new to behavioral health billing, she had the knack for the job.  We provided a lot of training to refine her billing expertise.  Sherri now has her own successful billing service, and uses Summit-Edge as her billing platform.  We continue to offer guidance and support, as she continues serving the behavioral health community.  For solo-practices looking for a full-service billing solution, Sherri Sahs has wonderful services to offer.
